Invitation to participate for Geogetown Heritage Photography Contest and Amazing Hunt

On behalf of the George Town Heritage Photography Contest and Amazing Hunt Organising Committee, I would like to request your esteem company to participate in this event.

We are please to advise that this event was organise by 9 Lions Club in George Town and endorsed by the Penang State Government. This program is also supported by Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang, Polis Kontingen Pulau Pinang, Penang Global Tourism and George Town World Heritage Inc. It will be held tentatively on 13^th Jan 2013 (Sunday), 7.00am at Church Street Ghaut.

The main objective of this campaign is to promote a better understanding of our George Town Heritage City and to provide a fun family day. George Town is a unique place in the world that showcase various races, cultures and religious belief, with better understanding of heritage and history, we look forward to a more appreciation of love, care and accommodation to each other regardless of any differences.

Briefly the event is for 3 categories, photography, treasure hunt and visitations of heritage sites. The Guest of Honor for this event will be our State Governor with YB Chow Kong Yeow as a Special Guest. Besides this, we will be having food fair, exhibition of local handicraft, vintage car parade, cultural performances and many more! We expect more than 2000 participants will be taking part in this event, with this we believe that this partnership would better promote your company image as a social caring corporation that is concern with the preserving of the heritage.

3. 举办这个活动的目的是为了促进更多人了解我们的乔治市的文化遗产. 它那多元的种族, 文化和宗教信仰是世界上独一无二的. 通过这个活动, 我们期待各族,无论任何差异, 能更加关怀和理解彼此。通过此项活动筹募慈善基金为公益。
